ASAP® LOCK Mobile Fall Arrester with Lock Function

Description The Petzl ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester is designed to allow for handling when ascending rope. Normally, the device moves freely along the rope without any need for manual intervention and follows the user in all their movements. In the instance of a rapid movement, the device locks onto the rope and stops the user. Additionally, the integrated locking function allows the user to immobilize the device in order to reduce the length of a fall. The connection arm allows for drop-resistance when passing intermediate anchors, and in the case of working at a distance from the rope, an energy absorber can be coupled for an efficient workflow.
